CECB has a small volunteer committee and a professional musical director.
Members come from a wide variety of musical backgrounds, with many also playing in other ensembles.
Martin Sleaford, Musical Director
Martin, a music graduate of Coventry University, is a professional musician, teacher and conductor. He became the Band's musical director in 2022.
Martin had his first experience as a show musical director as a 13-year-old. He has since gone on to direct casts, choirs, orchestras and wind bands around the Midlands in classical and light music concerts, shows, musicals and pantomimes. He is also an accomplished keyboard and wind instrument player and teacher.
The band is run by a small volunteer committee of Chairman, Secretary, Librarian and Membership, Finance and Social Media Officers.
